Preparing common tools and equipments

The Crafting Table is one of the most important blocks in Minecraft. It provides you the tools to start the game.

 Crafting Tables can be obtained by crafting. In the inventory, it can be built using the 2x2 crafting grid; the ingredients are 4 wood planks blocks.

With the crafting table (not your inventory) you can use the 3x3 crafting grid. It allows you to craft more items than with the crafting grid in your inventory.

Some common tools are:

1.       Pickaxes: required to mine blocks like stone, iron and ore

2.       Axes: required to chop blocks like wood

3.       Shovels: to dig dirt, grass, sand quickly rather than by hand

In pocket edition, the crafting system is made by long-tapping icons on the hot bar:

Another important thing is the bed. You’ll re-spawn in bed when you die. Without the bed you’ll re-spawn in somewhere and lost your house.

Next, we are going to talk about some resources for these items.

1.       Wood planks: get from trees

2.       Wool to make bed: get from killing sheeps

3.       Coal to make torches and cook food: mine deep into the ground

4.       Diamond (tools make with diamond are often more durable than normal): you can find it near lava or water

And final, you’ll need to build your house to avoid monsters when the dark night falls. Let’s surround it with wood planks and a wooden door to make an entrance. Now, you’re safe for the first night in the world.
